Day 1  HANOI
On arrival welcome at the airport and transfer to your selected hotel.
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2  HANOI / HALONG   (B)
Spend your morning touring the capital and visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside), his former residence, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and the Old Quarter. After a free lunch downtown, transfer by road to the famous Halong Bay. On your way, stop at Hai Phong for a sightseeing tour of Vietnam’s most important seaport and visit Du Hang Pagoda, Hang Kenh Communal House and its numerous wooden sculptures.

Day 3  HALONG / HANOI   (B/L)
After an early breakfast board a private boat for a 5-hour cruise through the mystical Halong Bay and admire one of the natural marvels of Vietnam. Visit islets, natural caves of Dau Go & Trinh Nu and if weather permits, enjoy a swim in the clear waters of the Gulf of Tonkin. For lunch, seafood on board will delight you, before returning to Hanoi later in the afternoon.

Day 4  HANOI / PHATDIEM / HOALU / HANOI / LAOCAI   (B)
After breakfast drive to the village of Kim Son and visit Phat Diem’s cathedral then continue to Van Lam village and board a small sampan for a spectacular 3-hour cruise through numerous waterways, beautiful rural landscape of limestone cliffs and rice paddies, to the stunning Tam Coc caves. Free lunch in a local restaurant in Van Lam. In the afternoon visit Dinh and Le Dynastic temples before returning to Hanoi in the late afternoon to take the night train to Sapa.

Day 5  LAOCAI / SAPA   (B/D)
Arrival at Lao Cai railway station at about 7h30. Transfer by coach to Sapa (45 mn). Breakfast on arrival at the hotel, just after check-in.
The rest of the morning is at leisure. Afternoon, visit Ta Van (Zay) village where you will enjoy a walk and discover the traditional way of life of these welcoming people. Rice paddies, wooden bridges, and rivers… This area, which still remains unspoiled, offers magnificent scenery. In the evening, enjoy dinner in a cosy and friendly atmosphere.

Day 6  SAPA and ITS SURROUNDINGS  (B/D)
Free day to explore on your own the village of Sapa and its colourful market. Sapa is home to more than 30 colourful hill tribes (Black H'mong, Flower H'mong, Red Dao) and Vietnam’s highest peak: Mount Fansipan.

Day 7  SAPA/ HANOI   (B/L)
After breakfast depart at 8h00 for Lao Cai on the day train for Hanoi. Lunch on the train. Arrival in Hanoi in the early evening, transfer to the Hotel.

Day 8  HANOI / DANANG / HOIAN   (B)
Transfer to the airport to take your morning flight to Danang. On arrival visit the Cham Museum, Marble Mountains and have a look at China Beach. Continue to the riverside town of Hoi An which was an important trading port during the 17th and 18th centuries and which nowadays, is officially listed as a world heritage site. Check in the hotel then take a walking tour round Hoi An ancient town and explore its treasures: the Japanese Bridge, PhucKien Pagoda, PhungHung Old Merchant House, QuangDong Assembly Hall.

Day 9  HOIAN / DANANG / HUE   (B)
After breakfast, transfer to Hue via the Hai Van Pass and through the picturesque fishing village of Lang Co. Check in the hotel and in the afternoon, take a boat for a cruise on the gentle Perfume River and visit Thien Mu pagoda on the riverbank and Emperor Minh Mang's tomb.
Overnight in Hue.

Day 10  HUE    (B)
After breakfast visit the Imperial Citadel and Emperor Khai Dinh’s mausoleum. Enjoy a free lunch in a local restaurant before visiting Emperor Tu Duc’s tomb, Dong Ba market and Diem Phung Thi exhibition of sculptures.

Day 11  HUE / SAIGON   (B)
After an early breakfast transfer to Hue Airport for your morning flight to Saigon. On arrival transfer to your selected hotel. In the same morning, discover bustling Saigon: enjoy a tour in the Old Colonial Residential Quarter and discover the old Hotel de Ville, the Opera House, Notre-Dame Cathedral (built in the 19th century) the dazzling French-style post office and the Reunification Palace (outside). In the afternoon visit the War Remnants Museum, then continue to Cho Lon and stop at Binh Tay Market. Finally, end the day with a visit to a lacquer ware factory.

Day 12  SAIGON / CAIBE / VINHLONG / CANTHO   (B/L)
Morning departure from Ho Chi Minh City and drive overland to Cai Be, in the heart of the Mekong Delta. On arrival board a sampan for a cruise on the Mekong River and its multiple canals to Vinh Long. Visit Cai Be floating market, an old colonial house, a rice corn factory and taste local specialties for lunch. In the afternoon continue to Can Tho, the main town of the Mekong Delta.
Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 13  CANTHO / MYTHO / SAIGON   (B)
After breakfast board a Sampan to visit Cai Rang floating market and a family run noodle-making factory. Witness the rural life and the beautiful vegetation along the riverbanks. Discover Can Tho’s market then drive back to Saigon. On the way visit Dong Tam’s snake farm where dozens of species are bred for medical need, and stop at Ving Trang pagoda. Arrive in Saigon late in the afternoon.

Day 14 / SAIGON   (B)
Free time before transfer to the airport.
