Day 1   HANOI
On arrival, welcome at the airport and transfer to your selected hotel.
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2   HANOI  (B)
After breakfast spend a full day touring the capital and visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside), his former residence, One Pillar Pagoda, Quanh Tanh and Tran Quoc Pagodas, Temple of Literature and Historical Museum. Discover Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and enjoy a rickshaw tour in the old quarter with its antique shops.
Early in the evening, you will enjoy a traditional water puppet show.

Day 3 HANOI / HOALU / HANOI   (B)
After breakfast drive to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century. On arrival visit Dinh and Le dynastic temples then continue to Van Lam village. In the afternoon board a small sampan for a spectacular 3-hour cruise through numerous waterways, beautiful rural landscape of limestone cliffs and rice paddies, to the stunning Tam Coc caves before returning to Hanoi.

Day 4   HANOI / BUT THAP / HAIPHONG / HALONG   (B)
After breakfast transfer by road to the famous Halong Bay. On your way stop at But Thap Pagoda and at Hai Phong for a sightseeing tour of Vietnam’s most important seaport. Free lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon visit Du Hang Pagoda, Hang Kenh Communal House and its numerous sculptures in wood before continuing to Halong.
Overnight in Halong.

Day 5  HALONG / HANOI  (B/L)
After an early breakfast board a private boat for a 6-hour cruise through the mystical Halong Bay and admire one of the natural marvels of Vietnam. Visit islets, natural caves of Dau Go & Trinh Nu and, if weather permits, enjoy a swim in the clear waters of the Gulf of Tonkin. For lunch, seafood on board will delight you, before returning to Hanoi later in the afternoon.

Day 6 HANOI / DANANG / HOIAN   (B)
Transfer to the airport for morning flight to Danang. On arrival visit the Cham Museum and Marble Mountains. Continue to the riverside town of Hoi An, which was an important trading port during the 17th and 18th centuries and which nowadays, is officially listed as a world heritage site. Check in the hotel then take a walking tour round Hoi An ancient town and explore its treasures: the Japanese Bridge, Phuc Kien Pagoda, Phung Hung Old Merchant House, Quang Dong Assembly Hall.

Day 7 HOIAN / DANANG / HUE   (B)
After breakfast morning at leisure then transfer to Hue via the Hai Van Pass and through the picturesque fishing village of Lang Co.

Day 8 HUE    (B)
After breakfast visit the Imperial Citadel, Emperor Khai Dinh and Tu Duc’s mausoleum. In the afternoon take a boat for a cruise on the gentle Perfume River and visit Dong Ba market, Thien Mu Pagoda on the riverbank and Emperor Minh Mang’s tomb.
Overnight in Hue.

Day 9   HUE / SAIGON   (B)
Transfer to Hue Airport for your morning flight to Saigon. On arrival, transfer to your selected hotel. In the same morning, discover bustling Saigon: enjoy a tour in the Old Colonial Residential Quarter and discover the old Hotel de Ville, the Opera House, Notre-Dame Cathedral (built in the 19th century), the dazzling French-style post office and the Reunification Palace (outside). In the afternoon visit the War Remnants Museum, then continue to Cho Lon and stop at Binh Tay Market. Finally, end the day with a visit to Vinh Nghiem Pagoda and a lacquer ware factory.
Overnight in Saigon.

Day 10  SAIGON / CAIBE / VINHLONG / CAN THO  (B/L)
Morning departure from Ho Chi Minh City and drive overland to Cai Be, in the heart of the Mekong Delta. On arrival board a sampan for a cruise on the Mekong River and its multiple canals to Vinh Long. Visit Cai Be floating market, an old colonial house, a rice corn factory and taste local specialties for lunch. In the afternoon continue to Can Tho, the main town of the Mekong Delta.
Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 11  CANTHO / MY THO / SAIGON   (B)
After breakfast board a Sampan to visit Cai Rang floating market and a family run noodle-making factory. Witness the rural life and the beautiful vegetation along the riverbanks. Discover Can Tho’s market then drive back to Saigon. On the way visit Dong Tam’s snake farm where dozens of species are bred for medical needs, and stop at Ving Trang pagoda. Arrive in Saigon late in the afternoon.

Day 12  SAIGON  (B)
Free time until transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for your departure flight.
